In the scene where they are attacking the group of guys pretending to be Indians Maverick says that he only has six bullets, yet he shoots at least 13 before his gun is empty.
I did notice this. I always thought it was the most obvious error ever. How could the editing crew miss this?

Coop does shoot off some shots. And Brett takes Annabelle's gun...which is why they were going to split the pot more so.

This is a slip-up. I watched the movie again recently, and he fires 10 shots before his gun runs out of bullets. The other 2-3 shots came from Annabelle's little gun and Coop.
