Blair Witch Project - How Old Were You When You Died?
If you check out Mike's age on the missing poster, it says 24. His "autobiography" at www.blairwitch.com states that he was born in 1973. If my math is correct: 1973 + 24 is
1997. Weren't the people missing in 1994? He would've AND should've been 21, not 24.
But this, along with other items, (such as word choice), have probably been placed on the site on purpose, because the whole movie and it's story isn't fact - it's fiction (but pretty good fiction at that ;)...

That's easy. The poster was printed in 1997, not in 1994.

This doesn't constitute a slip-up in the movie. The web site has nothing to do with what happened in the movie. They are two separate things.

Well if you meant story as in the legend then you are totally wrong, the LEGEND is true. But if by story you meant that the people disappearing and the whole National Anthem singing then I will go over here --> and skulk...

Actually nothing about the movie OR the legend is true. Everything was completely made up.

First off all I agree that the age thing was a slip up. But the movie itself was based on fact. There was an actual film which show these events, leading to their death. Rather these 3 actual people faked their own death on camera or not the movie was based on an actual footage.

The poster was probably made in 1997, 3 years after they disappeared. Since they never found any bodies they couldn't really say that they were dead. The poster updated his age because it had been 3 years. Mike would've aged, not magically stayed 21.
