Virgin Suicides, The - Wrong Dance

On the back of the DvD of The Virgin Suicides it says, "But when Trip Fontaine convinces Lux Lisbon and her sisters to go to the PROM, the boys' romantic fantasies threaten to come true-" first off, it is clearly stated in the film that they went to Homecoming, not the prom...and how can you make a mistake like that?!?!
