During the scene in which The Beast is is throwing Belles father out of his castle, You can hear the beast say something that is supposed to be the old mans line. He says "Please" and then in the Beasts voice you hear " Spare my Daughter". how could the voice people not notice that?
I don't watch movies without closed captioning, and it even says that Beast says "Spare my daughter", but the caption people mess up all the time, so it could have just been a caption error. I'll have to watch it again and get back to you.
No, it's Maurice's voice. He says the word "Spare" deeper, and has a touch of characteristic growl of the Beast's voice in it, but it's definatley Maurice's voice. Maybe the Beast is growling as he says it?
I just noticed this tonight because I've done some editing in the past, and my friend does it for a living, and to me it sounds like it was dubbed over something that used to be in the original version. Perhaps it was one of the rumored "dirty jokes" of the Disney movies? It just sounds like they stuck a new recording in over the old one, it doesn't fit with the rest.
