During the final Death Star battle, Darth Vader mans his TIE fighter to take care of things himself. In a couple of different scenes, you can see David Prowse's eyes when the light hits Darth's mask in a cetain way. I thought for sure they would fix this in the Special Edition.
Actually, you can see through Darth's eyes during much of the movie. George Lucas meant to have opaque eyes, but he didn't get them quite right the first time. The other movies fixed the problem, though.
Yep, Star Wars was a somewhat low-budget deal compared to ESB and ROTJ... Vader's eyes were hidden by nothing more than a pair of sunglass lenses. You can see right through ^.^
The Power Rangers have the same problem.
*to self* Idiot, you just compared Darth Vader to the Power Rangers. What kind of fan are you?! *kicks himself* Moron! Idiot!
Yeah Mars, and the power rangers have another problem, why the hell are their uniforms always sparking? Everytime those puddy morons touch them they're suits spark....oh, wait, this is star wars..uh....gotta go!!!
My thoughts exactly. The poor sod has had most of himself blown away or chopped off but he does still have his own eyes so why shouldn't he use them? How would it look if one of the most feared leaders of the Empire tripped over and fell on his face?
