Blackadder the Third - Mixed Up Dictionary?
If you watch the episode entitled 'Ink and Incapability' you'll notice a pretty silly error.
There is a scene towards the end where Dr Johnson (Robbie Coltrane) is checking to see which words Prince George (Hugh Laurie) has underlined and says:
"Bloomers, bottom, burp?" <turns a page> "Fart, fiddle, fornicate???"
The point being that he only turns *one* page in the gigantic manuscript and somehow jumps from B to F!

OK read the entries. notice how far apart the second letters are. now consider how many words fit on a double spread in a dictionary. This isn't a slip up it just demonstrates how slim the volume was and how many words were missed out.

Considering the size of the book it was a slip up. I noticed this too the first time i saw it. There is way too much of the book left for it to be anything but a slip up. Blackadder was filmed in front of a live audience, it was a comedy and a bit of fun, i hardly think they were trying to show how many words were missed out.
