Friends - Magic Telescope Spy

In the episode of Friends where a person with a telescope looks into their apartment, Monica and Rachel can both see her straight across the window from where they can see the 'ugly naked guy.' Then, the next day, Joey and Chandler claim that they can see the spy looking in their apartment too. Not possible! The apartment building that Monica and Joey live in does not support this. If Joey and Chandler live across the hall from Monica and Rachel, and Monica and Rachel can see the spy directly across from their big window, then it is impossible for the spy to see both apartments. And Joey claims that he can't cook naked anymore, well there is no window that you can look into to see Joey and Chandler's kitchen.

nicki-chick writes:: It is possible because Rachel and Monica's big window is on the same side of the building that Chandler and Joey's is. If you were to look at it across the street you would see a big window in Monica's apartment followed by a little window in the kitchen and then the next would be Chandler's. Staph writes:: You know, there are a lot of slip-ups like this in Friends....one that I caught was how the Apartment building is set up...at the end of one episode after Chandler and Monica "did their thing" then entered the Central Perk through a door behind the recliner in Central Perk....but other times when they say they are going to Central Perk they enter through the main door....freaky huh...; 15 of 6576 found this helpful.
