When Lori and Quaid first wake up, she has red-painted fingernails, but when she gets up and they go to the kitchen table, her fingernails are unpolished.
How do you know she didn't go to the bathroom first and use that thing that they have that changes nail color instantly that the secretary at the memory place was using?
You notice that later in the movie, the office lady at recall used a pen-like thing to change the color of her fingernails. What's to say that Quade's wife doesn't have one of those too.
