Law & Order - Wrong Months
Prior to a courtroom scene they mention it's in a summer month, yet the female lawyer has a heavy suit on something you would wear in the winter or early spring maybe even late fall, but never in July. I'm addicted to this TV show, and they do this a lot. Such as bare trees when it's suppose to be May or Sept October etc. leaves on trees when it's suppose to be November or March. You would think they would be more careful.

I would have assumed they would have figured it out by now?! Guess not.

The show is shot at various times throughout the year, but the dates that are given are around the time the episode airs. You don't expect them to shoot the episode just days before it airs, do you?

Inappropriately bare or leafy trees is something that's really beyond their control--that's a limitation of when they do filming. As for dressing warmly in the summer, I can tell you from personal experience that many courtrooms have, shall we say, unpredictable environmental controls. Generally the temperature is adjusted to what that particular judge prefers, and there are judges who like their courtrooms to be cool as meat lockers, or hot as a sauna.
