In the movie, Darril Chase, the "7up guy", crossed the border from Texas to Mexico.He said that he was at a hotel called Emu, in Texas. After crossing the border into Mexico he said that he was still in Texas.
I'm afraid you are wrong about this one. While he was at the Mexico border he saw that "Freddy" was wanted in Mexico then the soldiers ran out and surrounded the car he was in so he crashed through them and TURNED AROUND and went back into TEXAS where he then went to the Emu motel and called the "Dirty Cop"
