In the final showdown, the Muse (Selma Hayak)Leaps onto Bartlby's (Ben Affleck) back. If you look at his armor, you will notice the rig to hold his "wings" on!
He's an actor, he's not a real angel. They had to attach the wings on somewhere. They must have not put the wings on so well.
