Home Alone - What Dog?

1) Watch the part at the beginning when the mother is talking to someone on the phone.

2) You notice that she says something like "No, we're not bringing the dog."

3) Later in the movie, you see a dog door, but no dog! There is also no dog food, dog bowl, or any evidence that they would have a dog!
