At FedEx in Memphis, going to Malaysia, Chuck boards what seems to be an Airbus A300 or some other narrow-body, two-engine aircraft. However, once on board, we are greeted by a wide-body cabin and the exact same cockpit of an MD-10 - a three-engine wide-body aircraft - oops!
Fed ex might have more than one plane and since chuck (hanks) is like the boss or whatever, he might have been checking the other planes that were leaving to make sure they were loaded correctly. or maybe im wrong.
First he was seeing heading toward the airfield with an A300 in the background, not boarding that particular aircraft.. he surely walked past that Airbus and boarded the ill fated MD-11 which was somewhere else parked.. also he had just arrived at the airfield , he probably cant just board the plane and would had to reunite in the operations room with the crew or other FedEx personnel.
And second as a side note, the A300 is not a narrow body aircraft.. its a wide-body.. not as wide as the MD11/DC10... but a wide body .. the only narrow body Airbus is the A320 family
