I would be willing to bet that this is more like an egg. I can't imagine a person putting on war attire and forgetting to take off their wristwatch.

Well, I sometimes forget to take of my wristwatch
when putting on my gym clothes so it is very
possible that they forgot to take of they're watches.

Yes, so do I, but then again, in Gym class, we are not required to act a part after putting on war attire and makeup *S*

Are you sure that they are wristwatches? I remember seeing several of the Scots wearing wrist_guards_ but not watches...

People, the idea isn't that they forgot to take their wrist watches off, its that they didn't have wrist watches back then

If there are any Scots wearing watches, this is a really hilarious slip-up. I was told once the same thing happens in "Quo Vadis", where you can see one of the Romans wearing a Rolex; unfortunately I don't know in which scene as there are SO MANY Romans playing in the movie!

Ya, he's wearing a gold Rolex -- it's an arrest scene about halfway through the movie. Some of the other guards have watches, too.

I heard that in The Patriot, the director had to stop many of the scenes because extras were wearing watches. I looked but couldn't find any there.
