Before Jesus is going to be crucified, you will see the cross being lowered with Judas on it. If you look closely, you can see a chain and a bulldozer thing! VERY sophisticated for year 1 B.C.!
Um....they start out on a bus. That's ahead of 1 B.C. too. You see this is supposed to be modern. This is not a slip-up but you were good to see that. I never noticed it.
If you actually watched the movie...you would notice that the characters aren't all dressed up like typical people of the era. They're wearing 70's style clothes...the also arrived on...oh...get this...A BUS!!! And the soldiers have...oh my lord...GUNS!! This movie was supposed to be an interpretation not a direct historical reenactment.
If you listen to the lyrics that Judas is singing, he says "if you'd come TODAY, you could have reached a whole nation; Israel in 4 B.C. had no mass communication." That scene is a leap into the future (our present time). Also, he is not being lowered on a cross, but a crane pick-up hook. The cross illusion is lighting.
I noticed all of those, but the crane? I didn't think that one was supposed to be seen. While all the planes and tanks and buses and stuff are in plain view, this one is off in the corner somewhere.
