watch the part in "prophesy" when izzy tells mr.I and mrs.I about angemon and angewomon,he says angemon is the fully evolved version of patamon.angemon is a champion, izzy, not an ultimate!
Besides, the fully DigiVolved version of Angemon is Seryphmon (fully DigiVolved means it's final form, right) And Seryphmon is Angemon's mega, right?

As a matter of fact, no. A Mega is not a fully evolved Digimon, that's what the Ultimate forms where called before the discovery of Mega. It may not be fully evolved truly, but that doesn't mean anything. In Dragon Ball Z, Cell Final Form is his second to last form, and his highest is Perfect Cell.
About Seraphimon: I haven't heard any arguments about it, because the correct spelling is SERAPHIMON. Seraphim, get it? He's an angel. What on Earth is a Serphim?
That's a good catch! The ultimate level of Patamon is Manga Angemon. Angemon IS just a champion, but a guess it can get confusing since Angewomon is kind of the female version of Angemon and she's an ultimate
Yeah, that can get pretty confusing. Especially that Angel Digimon are one stage stronger than what they really are e.g. Angemon has the strength of an Ultimate, but is really a Champion.
What I say is this: In the second season if Digimon, Izzy admits to Ken that he's had a lot of theories in his past, many of them being wrong. Sooo, maybe when Izzy says that Angemon is the fully evolved form of Patamon, it was an incorrect theory, an incorrect assumption. Everyone makes mistakes!
When Izzy said Angemon is the fully evolved form of Patamon, he probably meant that Patamon couldn't digivolve any further at the time because Magnaangemon is only in Piedmon's last jest, now Apoclymon and fate of two worlds so really at the time Angemon was the fully digivolved form of patamon because he couldn't digivole any further at the time.
Guys, there wasn't any excuse or reason. The writers just messed up. What he meant was "Angewomon is the fully-evolved form of Gatomon, and Angemon is the evolved form of Patamon." But that was long, so they shortened the sentence, and it came out wrong.
...So Patamon has the strength of a Champion? (maybe not)
MagnaAngemon has the strength of a Mega?
I wonder what Seraphimon has the strength of ...?
Especially when in the movie, he was defeated by one
attack from a Mega Digimon...That was divided between him and the
warp-digivolved form of Gatomon...
