Friends - Joey is Matt, Matt is Joey
At the end of the episode, Chandler, adressing to joey, calls him Matt. He says something like "see you,Matt" Matt Le Blanc is the actor who plays Joey on the show.

He most definitely does call him Matt. I had this episode recorded and listened to it several time. If it says man on closed captioning, that is because it is what the script writers had intended.

Yeah, the deal is he actually said "See ya, Matt", but the producers decided it sounded close enough to 'man' that it wasn't worth reshooting.

I can't believe anyone would actually think he says "Matt". He clearly says "man" and none of the directors would have put this mistake in the end show

GEEZE!! Just because "Matt" sounds like "Man" it doesn't mean that every single time they call him "man" it's a slip-up! They definetly said "man" also because they always call him LeBlanc and never ever Matt.

I didn't hear him say anything. All that was said to Joey right before he left was what Chandler said about the magnifying thing. He said something like, "Ya takin' that with ya?" Then Ross walked in and asked Chandler if he was coming.
