In the episode "Spirit Needle"(the one with Golemon),when Golemon is introduced on the computer screen where they show the name and tell about whichever Digimon is on the screen, they showed Golemon's name as Rockmon, and not as Golemon.
no! the a-screen is right! palmon called rockmon by it's japanese name, and mimi called snowbotamon by it's japanese name,so their japanese names are golemon and yukimibotamon.
It's a dubbing mistake. You see some of them in Pokémon too, e.g. in Japan, Pidgey evolves into Pidgeot evolves into Pidgeotto. In the English version, the 1st stage and 2nd stage Pokémon are switched. Don't ask me why, but it is.
Not that I like Pokemon or anything, but the Pidgey line is as follows in Japan: Pippi, Pigeon, Pigeotto/Pigeot. Pidgeot's Japanese name is debatable, depending on how you translate it, but it's most likely Pigeot.
But they didn't fix the mistake, they just changed the A-Screen so it matched the VAs. They still have the wrong names. Obviously they didn't feel like re-dubbing the episode... :p
I agree, but if they had subtitles, Dylan Searles, they would have translations like “ Beat him into unrecognizable shape!” or something stupid like that.
