Buffy: The Vampire Slayer - Moving Dracula Bite Marks
In the episode where Dracula comes to see Buffy,
he goes into her room while she's sleeping and bites her on the right side of her neck. later when she gets up and looks at the bite marks on neck, it's on the opposite side- and it switched back and forth after Riley took off her scarf.
If you pay close attention to the shot, you can tell it was shot in a mirror. Therefore this is not a slip-up, it is a camera 'trick'. It does trick some people though.
Well, if you pay quite a lot of attention, despite the mirror trick, (which was done very well,)the bite does tend to switch sides before she approaches the mirror and from shot to shot.As well, in past episodes, a vampires bite has always appeared very the same, where as, angels bite mark turns from long and dragged down her neck to to small holes.AS WELL BE AWARE that the bite mark has no presence in all other eposides!
The bite mark does not move. If you remember, Angel bit here previously in the series when he was dyeing from the poison that Faith had injected him with. So he bit her on the opposite side that Angel bit her, causing her to have bite marks on both sides of her neck.
I am gonna have to disagree with Jaimie's comment. Dracula did bite Buffy on the same side as Angel did. But I do agree with others in saying that the bite mark seems to move. And where did the Master's bit mark go to? Angel's bite mark disappears unless they need it for the story too.
