When Michael rides his motor-bike in front of Kat's car his goggles are on his helmet above his eyes but in the next frame when he talks to Cameron his goggles are now magically over his eyes ready for his jump down the hill.
Wow, magic! Maybe you're just supposed to assume that he put the goggles on, and they didn't show it.

Watch it again. When I saw it, as soon as Michael gets done talking to Cameron, he then pulls down the goggles.

He did put his goggles down. Trust me. This is my favorite movie in the whole world! He put his goggles over his eyes when he got done talking to Cameron.
