Near the end of the movie, Xavier claims they picked up Logan near the Weapon-X lab he is looking for. They picked him up in northern Alberta, but the map shows the laboratory in southern British Columbia. As any Canadian could tell you, the two locales are nowhere close.
Well I hope I am not offending you if you are from Canada, because I am. But if you have looked at a map of Canada recently British Columbia is right next to Alberta! The rockies run through both provinces... look and you'll see that these two locales are not far apart!
I have to agree with Gavin AND Steve Crow here. I live in Vancouver, BC, and have also lived in Alberta. As far as I can tell, Northern Alberta and Southern British Columbia are pretty close together geographically (think about the size of Canada), however, to confuse Northern Alberta with Southern British Columbia would seriously have to take a huge lack of knowledge on map reading. Help me out here, it would take what? 15-20 hours to drive that distance?
Yes, they border on the east (of BC) and west (of Alberta). But watch the movie and read what I posted: they picked Wolverine up in _northern_ Alberta. But the base is shown to be in _southern_ British Columbia. That's roughly 490-550 miles. That's a pretty strange usage of the term "nearby" as Xavier states.
