At he end of the movie, when Tom Barringer is batting, he gets brushed back (almost hit) by the pitcher. If you look his uniform is dirty and you can even hear "He refuses to brush off his uniform". But for the rest of the picture the uniform is really clean! This is made more remarkable by him being a catcher.
