Now and Then - Long Jump

Fairly early in the movie, Sam looks down from her window to watch her father pack his car and leave. It is very obvious that her room is on the second floor of the house. Later that night, when she is sneaking out of her room to meet the other girls in the cemetery, she opens her window and jumps out. It would DEFINITELY be impossible to jump from the second floor of her house to the ground and not be injured.
