There is a scene in the movie where Wendy (Mare Winnigham) is talking to Billy (Rob Lowe) - I can't remember exactly where it is in the movie, but she asks him if he is still playing his sax. He says, "No, I hocked it to pay the phone bill." However, at the end of the movie when he leaves and gets on the bus, his sax is on a strap over his shoulder!
