Towards the beginning of the movie, Nat, Wayne, and Chet throw a snowball at Principal Weaver from "last year's stash" and it hits him and he falls down. The steak lands on the chair in one scene and on the next frame the dog is picking the steak up off the ground. It is pretty obvious when you look hard.
