After Bird and the Midnite Falcons performed, the Five Heartbeats came on. They were initially boo-ed during their song, which was "A Heart Is A House" At that point duck pushed the house piano player from the stool and began to play the song as he originally wrote it. Eddie then loosened his tie and began to sing. The crowd went wild, he then turned to the group and said Duck, ya'll, lets do it like we did in the tunnel. He then leaped off the stage and his tie was back in a knot. The scene continued to show his tie tied and UN-tied throughout the rest of the song.
