I wasn't sure what I heard at first, but I just read the transcripts from www.crashdown.com, and I was right. There's a conversation between Michael, Courtney and Maria that for a while doesn't make sense.

"MICHAEL: So you're a skin, like Whitaker.

COURTNEY: How'd you get on to Whitaker?

MARIA: We're asking the questions here, ok? Now, why are you in Roswell? Where's the rest of your evil army? And most of all, why are you obsessed with my good-looking, if badly groomed boyfriend?

COURTNEY: I'm not obsessed with him, ok? I follow him in the...political sense.

MARIA: Our leader?"

Does that make sense to you? When did Courtney said something about a leader? My guess: they edit that part of the conversation.
