At the very beginning after the Cowboys have ridden into town, they are standing in the street in front of the church. You see the wedding party leaving the church, with the Cowboys waiting for them. The scene is shot from inside the church looking out towards the cowboys. As they are walking, the padre puts his hat on. The camera then is on the opposite side facing towards the church from the Cowboys point of view. The padre puts his hat on again.
