Towards the end of the film, after Renton has cleaned up, he and his girlfriend are lying on his bed, sharing a cigarette, or joint, talking about Iggy Pop. While she is talking, they show a shot of the joint, there is no ash on the end. Then they switch camera angles, to behind her, looking over her shoulder at Renton, and the ash on the end is an inch and a half long!
