When Vic and Alec in the Jaguar reach Wade's Landing, they discover that the ferry is already crossing the river. Vic makes Alec get out of the driver seat and takes the wheel himself. He backs up and then races forward to jump the river. The first shot of the jump shows the Jaguar about to bury its nose in the river bank. The second shot shows the bewildered ferry captain looking up at the Jag. The third shot shows the Jaguar landing rear wheels first.
