Towards the end of the movie when Arnold Schwarzenegger gets shot at by the predator, you can clearly see he is badly hurt. As the rest of the movie goes on, you can clearly see that his injury is almost healed up and it's only been overnight.
Oh be quite. He was shot at directly with the alien cannon, but it hit his gun or other equipment that he had on. He would only be hurt or limping for awhile.
