In Pitch Black there is a scene where Vin Diesel is looking at one of the skeletons of the aliens. As he's looking he is holding one of the horns that had fallen off the skeleton to where it used to be. Then the old priest comes and scares him. Vin drops the horn but you hear the clatter on the ground before he drops it.
If you have the movie and you've seen it as many times as I have, you would notice that you don't actually SEE him drop the bone, you just see his arms drop down and you hear a noise...trust me on it.
