Legends of the Fall - Samuel's Death

Go to the scene where Tristan is holding Samuel after he's been shot in war.

Every time the camera moves to show Samuel's face,

the blood coming from his mouth moves or disappears.

Sometimes it's on the right, sometimes on the left, and sometimes it's just gone.

The bad editing in this part always bugged me...

Raftah writes:: This scene is FULL of editing mistakes. Watch Brad Pitt's character as the camera switches angles (from views of Samuel's face back to Tristan's face). When we're looking at Samuel's face, we can see Tristan to the left. He is clearly distraught, holding his face with his hands. Then we cut to a view of Tristan--his hands are nowhere near his face. Then we cut back to a view of Samuel, and Tristan is once again holding his face. Errors like that really bother me, too...; 15 of 6576 found this helpful. Did you?
