There's a Hewlett Packard ad that shows a woman playing music (based on the people she sees on the street) with her HP Jornada Handheld. She then goes home to burn a CD of the day's music on her "HP" desktop, but there's a little mistake, reports Brian Fling.
"When she is burning the CD the desktop platform is clearly the Mac OS with the File, Edit, View visible at the top of the screen," he says. "Then -- and the camera reveals the entire room and her music collection -- the desktop is clearly the Mac OS with icons flush right and the menu bar at the top. No Microsoft Start Bar in sight. Funny, since HP Jornadas don't work with the Macs and also since HP sells their own PCs."
