Armageddon - Eject the Booster or Not?
After both shuttles had swung around the moon, the one with Bruce Willis on board says they are going to eject their boosters. There is then a scene when it shows them being ejected off. For the rest of the landing segment both ships have their boosters, and after Bruce Willis's ship lands on the asteroid all shots of the ship to they very end show it with it's boosters.

It has been a while since I saw the movie, but the boosters cannot remain attached to the shuttle after the main gass tank is jettison-ed. The boosters are attached to the main fuel tank, not the shuttle.

yes, the booster packs did go off with the initial rocket that got them out of earth. but, the shuttle had its own booster to reach the speed of 22,500mp. and i watch this movie about once a day and no, the booster is not seen again.
