In the end of the movie, when the dad is reviewing the security tape in Greg's room, to see who really did flush the toilet, we see Greg get out of bed to walk to the bathroom. He is wearing black socks, or some sort of black slipper. After he does his stuff, and flushes, he realizes what he has done, his foot coverings are gone, he is now barefoot? What happened?
The solution is simple: inadvertently, in his sleep, Greg pushed the sock off of his right foot, therefore leaving only one sock on. That sock is the one you saw on his left foot as he got out of the bed. When he went to the bathroom, his right, bare foot, then came into view. TA-DA.

I don't know, I think when Greg left the room he probably went back into bed, removed his sock/s and then realizing what he had done ran back into the bathroom. This is because the camera turns off when nothing's happening.

Greg is CRAZY! So while he's using the wash-room and it don't show his feet he secretly kicks off the slipper thing so the dad will think he was sleep walking and had no control over flushing the toilet, thus, making Greg look innocent! He planned the whole thing out and knew there was a camera so he would get a pet zebra.

The camera only tapes when someone is causing movement, so when Greg left the room, it stopped taping for a few. Then when he came back into the room, he had already kicked his slippers off.
