Speed - Ramp?

Okay, this is painstakingly obvious, and you've probably noticed it before but just in case: In the scene where the bus is going to jump the missing section of the freeway, it shows a helicopter view of the freeway and there are no obstructions, nothing but flat road, and yet when the bus hits the end of the road, it angles up, as though it hit a ramp. DUH!
