In the 1991 movie Oscar (starring Sylvester Stallone as Oscar, a mobster attempting to go straight) Tim Curry plays Dr. Poole, a brilliant linguist. About half an hour to forty-five minutes into the movie Dr. Poole arrives at Oscars home to give him his elocution lesson and meets with Oscars accountant, Anthony Rossano (who's actor I can't recall at the moment, sorry), and before Anthony says a single thing Dr. Poole says "Middlesex." The two then have a discussion about how Dr. Poole knew Anthony was from Middlesex county, New Jersey by his accent. But how could Dr. Poole have known by Anthony's accent where he was from if Anthony didn't speak until after Dr. Poole said "Middlesex." ?? Whoops! Guess they didn't catch that in the cutting room..
