When the silver BMW 3-series is blown up in the car-park outside the embassy, the hydraulic ram used to flip the car over goes off before the car explodes.
That's not a slip-up, the shock-wave would hit before the fireball could escape the car - try it with your car and see. Besides, it looks really cool. I think the slow-mo effect makes it look like more of a gap than it is.
