If you ever watched this cartoon, you would know that their magical weapons are the most important thing, the whole cartoon is based on them.

Ok heres what happened.

I think it was that little magic kid that was involved, he was hit but a bolt of light and left half dead on the floor. As soon as all the others see him they all go running up to him and go down on one knee. They all set theirs weapons on the floor close to them. There is a shot of the kids face for like 2 seconds then when it zooms out to ranger and the crew all their weapons are gone. Didn't even bother do draw them in.
