When you go into the jail, the cells are on your left and the first one has a window. From the outside on the left is a building built right up against the jail. How can that be right?
Speaking of things disappearing, if you notice on some episodes of the interior of the courthouse, the extreme left corner, (coming in the front door) sometimes there is a door that leads supposedly up to the roof, and sometimes it's not there. Now you see it, now you don't.
If you also remember when they have a Christmas dinner in the jail because the general store owner "Ben" had a man locked up. He kept trying to get in on the celebration. The last time he tried, Andy caught him in the "alley" singing in the "window" the Christmas carol, "Silent Night" when he stumbles and falls and Andy goes out to see what the racket was. He caught Ben, let him go back to his store and get gifts for everybody. True, they do show a building next to the court house when they walk over to Floyd's barbershop.
