Anyway, in one of these scenes you can clearly see a Cameraman in an Blaze Orange Vest(like road construction workers wear) and plastic around his huge shoulder mounted camera.
I saw this too. The crew is loading rescue boats on the deck of the Red October. Immediately after the U.S. frigate calls to send a warning shot off the bow of the submarine, there is definitely a camera wrapped in plastic. Get this, the cameraman is wearing a life-preserver just like the crew of the boat, but he is wearing jeans and white sneakers.
