In "The Little Kicks", "bad seed" George meets Elaine's coworker in a park with his dad's car. Elaine comes in a cab to pick up the coworker. As the cab drives away, you can plainly see the license plates are California plates.
So? It's impossible for a car in New York to have California plates?
