In one episode of That 70's Show! Red, Eric and the gang go to see a WWF wrestling match. However, the Wrestling Leagues weren't united as the WWF until much later and at the time that the episode was supposed to be, they were divided up into regions.
Actually, the WWF has been around since the 1950's. It was starting to take over smaller promotions in the late 60's, early 70's. So, even if it wasn't nationwide then, it was still the WWF.
Actually, you are both wrong. The last comment is technically right because the WWF has been around since the 60's and 70's. But it wasn't the WWF (World Wrestling Federation), it was the WWWF (World Wide Wrestling Federation). This was ran by Vince McMahon Sr. Then when Vince McMahon Jr. (who we all know as now) took over the promotion in the mid 80's he re-named it the WWF.
