At the end of the movie after Jason is shot the guy says "I shot him six times." If you count the number of shots there are actually seven fired. That would be especially hard to do without reloading considering a revolver only holds six bullets.
1.The guy that got shot was Mike Myers and not Jason.
2.He does shoot him seven times because before he shot him off the balcony, he shot him once before.
Also if you look at the end when Michael Myers is stumbling out the window while being shot he is coming very close to a railing in which he should have tripped over. but when the camera goes outside you see Michael walking at the same level as the top of the railing and never trips just falls. so does he have some magical floating power no one knows of or is it a slip-up?
Okay, well Loomis easily could've mixed the numbers up. I mean, I'm sure his main concern was not to count the bullets, but the thing is, it's a pistol! Pistols can't hold seven bullets, and Loomis had absolutely no time to reload.
You're thinking of Halloween II, chief. In the opening footage Rick Rosenthal filmed, an extra gunshot was added, bringing the total to seven. In the first Halloween, however, six rounds are fired and all is well.
