When Peoples and Shaft are in a "fair" face off (right after Peoples was holding Diane with a knife to her throat)and Shaft pulls out a gun and shoots Peoples, Peoples falls to the ground. However, as he goes down he crumples, first landing on his knees. When he finally falls, on his side, you can see knee pads through his pants.
