At the beginning of the film just after the show(about 15 minutes in)Doloris storms out, into Vinces office with the purple mink, just as she walks in one of Vinces gangsters shoots Ernie the limo driver. Doloris is shocked to see the dead body on the floor as she enters the room. When she arrives at the police station she tells the police that Vince said " say goodnight Ernie" just before he murdered him (which he did)but Doloris never heard him say it she just stormed straight in the office.
