When Hale and the Ranger are in the canyon, and Hale has just shot down the chopper, Hale pulls the Ranger out from the blades, and they are running from the explosion, watch carefully the explosion in the background, it is further away than the actual chopper body is.
On a side note with this, when the chopper is blowing away the truck, it's coming at it from the side. When they run away from the truck, you can plainly see that the bullet holes go from front to back, not side to side as they should.
