While the Digi-destined are fighting Apocalymon for the FIRST time, Apocalymon uses his anti-digivolving attack (forgot the name), which changes all of them to their original states (Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Gatomon).
I always thought the worst concerning dubbing was: Before the digidestined had to search for the eighth child they were told they had to look in Tokyo, Japan and most of them acted confused and didn't know where it was, even though that's where they all lived. I wish I could remember exactly how the scene played out, but it's been a while. Anyway that really annoyed me, much like the episode of Poke'mon where they kept talking about eating these doughnuts that obviously weren't doughnuts.
Okay, I think that this one was a lazy/dubbing mistake. They were too lazy to have Matt go, "They're all back to thier rookie forms, ooops, Gatomon's not." I guess that would have sounded kinda funny to do that.
