Why doesn't the snake eat the mouse? If you look closely enough, you'll notices Scotch tape wrapped around the snake's mouth. In fact, at one point, you can see that they did a poor job with the tape becuase it's scrunched an quite noticeable.
This is so true! After reading this I saw the film and realized it was true! It is obvious! (Well my friend didn't spot it) But it was there! My god! Why didnt the editor edit that out? It's not so hard with today's computer editing, blurring etc. I guess he must have been using a small screen or something! You can even clearly see a corner on the bottom of the snake's tape, sticking out of the normal snake's neck!
If you watch the film properly, on the Saturday when Barry (Tom Green) feeds Mitch (the snake) he leaves the top off but whatever his name is (the owner of the snake) says earlier on 'He needs an evenly distributed 85 degrees to survive!' so all of Mitch's heat is going everywhere so he obviously won't want to eat if he's freezing cold, will he? Oh, and I've watched that film plenty of times and I've never seen any scotch tape on the snake!
I am surprised that the snake did not die. Tom Green left the lid off the tank for a long time, and Reuben explained Mitch's tank had to be at a certain temperature. And I didn't see any Scotch Tape either, thank you.
